Brandon McManus is expected to follow Harrison Mevis and Blake Grupe, both of whom spent only a short time with the Los Angeles Rams.
Rams make another change at kicker
The Rams parted ways with Mevis after a series of kicking-game problems in Week 5. He made five of his nine field-goal attempts this season.
Grupe joined the Rams next, but suffered a knee ligament injury in his first game with the team and was placed on injured reserve earlier this week. Grupe made his only field-goal attempt in the loss to the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday.
The Rams are now bringing in a kicker with years of NFL experience in McManus. The 35-year-old last played for the Green Bay Packers in 2025, making 24 of his 30 field-goal attempts in the regular season.

Brandon McManus brings experience with several teams
His final game for Green Bay was disappointing, however. McManus missed both of his field-goal attempts in the playoff loss to the Chicago Bears. He made three extra points but missed another attempt.
McManus has an 82 percent field-goal success rate over his NFL career. In addition to the Packers, he has played regular-season games for teams including the Denver Broncos and Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Rams are making another change at kicker during a difficult stretch. Los Angeles enters Week 7 with a 2-4 record, putting them at the bottom of the NFC West. McManus is now expected to bring more stability to the kicking game.
