On Sunday, November 15, the New England Patriots face the Detroit Lions at Munich’s Allianz Arena at 3:30 p.m. But the program for football fans gets underway two days earlier.

After their 2023 game in Frankfurt, the Patriots are returning with a host of activities. Along with a big fan party, the schedule includes autograph sessions, contests, limited-edition fan gear and a public watch party.

That means fans without tickets to the NFL game can still enjoy the weekend in Munich.

There, the Patriots will showcase their history of success with all six Super Bowl rings and selected memorabilia from the Patriots Hall of Fame.

On display will be a glove worn by Tom Brady, a shoe belonging to former quarterback Drew Bledsoe and historic covers of the U.S. magazine Sports Illustrated, among other items.

Fans can also test their throwing skills in a quarterback challenge, take souvenir photos and enter contests.

Some famous faces are making the trip to Munich, too: Patriots legends Sebastian Vollmer, Stephen Gostkowski, Brian Hoyer and Troy Brown are expected to be there over the weekend. The Patriots Cheerleaders and mascot Pat Patriot will also be on hand.

Sebastian Vollmer’s appearance should be of particular interest to German fans. The former offensive tackle won two Super Bowls with New England.

He fondly remembers his experience at the 2023 game in Germany. The huge fan march through Frankfurt was an unforgettable moment for him.

The big “Boston in Bavaria” fan party is also taking place on Saturday. In partnership with Meet Boston, the Patriots are welcoming up to 1,500 fans to the Augustiner Stammhaus.

American football traditions will meet Bavarian festival culture, with activities including a ceremonial keg tapping, competitive nail driving and stein-holding contests. Contests will offer signed prizes and even tickets to the Munich Game.

All Free Patriots Fan Events in Munich

The Patriots have announced several events for the weekend. Here are the key dates and locations.

• Patriots Haus – Friday, November 13, and Saturday, November 14: Herrschaftszeiten – Das Paulaner im Tal, Tal 12. Open from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. both days. The special fan program runs Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 p.m.
• Distorted People x Patriots – Friday, November 13: A limited-edition streetwear collection featuring a bomber jacket, flannel shirt, knit sweater and special jersey launches at the store at Auenstraße 2. Sales start at 4:00 p.m. Friday.
• Meet & Greet with Troy Brown – Saturday, November 14: Starting at 1:00 p.m., the three-time Super Bowl champion will sign autographs at the Patriots pop-up store in GALERIA at Marienplatz, Kaufingerstraße 1–5.
• Meet & Greet with Brian Hoyer – Saturday, November 14: Fans can meet the former quarterback at 2:00 p.m. at the DERTOUR travel agency in Kaufingertor Passage, Kaufingerstraße 9. A trip to a Patriots home game will also be given away.
• Boston in Bavaria – Saturday, November 14: The big fan party takes place at Augustiner Stammhaus, Neuhauser Straße 27. It’s open from 10:00 a.m. to midnight. The main program runs from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m., followed by a DJ.
• Free Patriots shuttle – Friday and Saturday: A special DERTOUR bus connects the NFL Store at Stachus, Neuhauser Straße 47, with Patriots Haus in the Tal. Scan the QR code on the bus for a chance to win a trip to Foxborough.
• RTL watch party – Sunday, November 15: Starting at 1:00 p.m., RTL invites fans to Patriots Haus at Herrschaftszeiten. Fans without stadium tickets can watch the game against Detroit together there. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.

Admission to all announced fan events is free. Merchandise is, of course, available for purchase.

That means the Patriots are offering much more than just a football game around the NFL Munich Game. From Super Bowl history and meetups with former stars to the big fan party, fans can spend an entire weekend celebrating the six-time NFL champions.
